The short answer
Converting an existing website into an iPhone app costs a fixed ₹9,999 at ZoopCoder and takes 5-7 working days, delivered as a signed iOS build sitting in your own App Store Connect, ready for TestFlight and submission. Apple then charges US$99 per year for the Apple Developer Program membership that keeps it listed — unlike Google Play's one-time US$25 this is a recurring subscription, and the app is removed from the App Store if it lapses. Two Apple rules decide whether a website-to-app conversion survives review: Guideline 4.2 rejects an app that is only a repackaged website, and Guideline 4.2.6 rejects apps made by a template or app-generation service unless they are submitted directly by the owner of the content — which is why we build inside your Apple account and hand over the Xcode project, and never submit on your behalf from ours. If you are enrolling from India there is one more step nobody mentions: Apple's web enrolment is not offered here, so the membership can only be started from the Apple Developer app on an iPhone or iPad.

About this service
Apple is far stricter than Google about website wrappers, and the two rules that catch people are not the ones they expect. Guideline 4.2 says an app should "include features, content, and UI that elevate it beyond a repackaged website", so this build is never a bare WebView — it gets a native tab bar, an offline state, pull-to-refresh, a native share sheet and proper link handling, which is the difference between an app and a Safari bookmark. Guideline 4.2.6 is the one that kills the free converters: an app created by a commercialised template or app-generation service is rejected unless it is submitted directly by the provider of the app's content. That means the app has to go out from your Apple Developer account, under your name — so we build inside your account and give you the Xcode project, rather than parking your app on ours. The content still comes from your live website, so changing a price or adding a page needs no new release. We cannot guarantee Apple's decision and neither can anyone else, but we build to the guidelines and handle the first round of review feedback inside the support window. Questions before you buy
Does Apple reject WebView apps?
Not automatically — Apple rejects apps with no value beyond the website. Guideline 4.2 asks for "features, content, and UI that elevate it beyond a repackaged website", which is why we add a native tab bar, offline handling, pull-to-refresh and native sharing. The separate trap is Guideline 4.2.6: apps built by a template or app-generation service are rejected unless the content owner submits them, so an app sitting in a converter company's account is rejected on principle however good it looks. Approval is still Apple's decision and cannot be guaranteed by us or anyone else.
Do I need a Mac to build or publish an iOS app?
No. We build, sign and upload the app, so you never touch Xcode or buy a Mac. You do need an Apple Developer Program membership in your own name, because the app is published from your account, not ours — and you can run every part of that from an iPhone.
How much does an Apple developer account cost in India?
Apple lists the Apple Developer Program at US$99 per year, charged "in local currency where available", so the rupee amount you are billed depends on Apple's rate and applicable tax on the day you enrol. It is recurring, not one-time: if you stop paying, your apps are removed from the App Store. Enrolment from India is only available through the Apple Developer app on an iPhone or iPad — Apple's web enrolment path is not offered in India.
How long does Apple's app review take?
Apple states that 90% of submissions are reviewed in less than 24 hours. That clock starts when the app is submitted and runs outside our 5-7 working day build. Apple also says over 40% of unresolved issues relate to Guideline 2.1 App Completeness — usually a missing demo login or a crash on first launch — so give the reviewer working test credentials if any part of your site is behind a login.
Can I use a free website-to-app converter for the App Store instead?
You can try, and it is usually where the ₹9,999 gets spent anyway. Free converters ship your app from their own developer account, which is exactly what Guideline 4.2.6 rejects; most produce a bare WebView with nothing native, which is what Guideline 4.2 rejects; and since 28 April 2026 App Store Connect only accepts builds made with Xcode 26 against the iOS 26 SDK, so an older exported project will not upload at all.
Whose name appears as the seller on the App Store?
Yours. If you enrol as an individual or a sole proprietor, Apple lists your personal legal name as the seller. To show a company name instead you must enrol as an organisation, which needs a D-U-N-S Number, a work email on your own domain and a live website on that domain.
Do I have to update the app every time I change the website?
No. Pages, prices and content load from your live site, so a website change reaches every user immediately. You only ship a new build to change the icon, app name, tabs or native behaviour — or when Apple raises the minimum SDK, as it did on 28 April 2026.
Can I get the Android app as well?
Yes. The Android build is ₹4,999 on its own, but the Android + iOS bundle is ₹12,999 instead of ₹14,998 for the two separately, with one icon, one app name and one set of link behaviour across both stores.
