Cloudflare's free plan puts a global CDN, free SSL and DDoS protection in front of your website, but a careless setup can break email, cause redirect loops or block Google itself. We copy every DNS record and verify it before changing nameservers, set the SSL mode to match your server so there are no redirect loops, add caching and compression rules for static files, and configure firewall and bot rules that stop junk traffic while explicitly allowing Googlebot, Bingbot and legitimate crawlers. After the switch we test your website, subdomains and email so nothing is quietly broken.

Why did my site break after I added Cloudflare myself?
Almost always the SSL/TLS mode. If your server already forces HTTPS and Cloudflare is set to "Flexible", Cloudflare connects to your origin over plain HTTP, the origin redirects back to HTTPS, and the two loop forever (ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS) — Cloudflare's own docs name this exact failure. Switching to Full or Full (strict) mode fixes it.
How fast do DNS changes on Cloudflare take effect?
Proxied (orange-cloud) records use a fixed TTL of 300 seconds that cannot be lowered; DNS-only (grey-cloud) records can go as low as 60 seconds. Some ISP resolvers still cache longer than the TTL you set, so we budget up to 24 hours for a clean global switch.
