The short answer
ZoopCoder upgrades an Android app to the target API level Google Play requires — Android 16, API 36 — for a fixed ₹2,999, in 2-4 working days. Apps that do not meet the yearly target API requirement cannot publish updates, and existing apps below the bar become hidden from new users on newer Android versions. Upgrading usually also means updating the Android Gradle Plugin and Gradle, and testing behaviour changes such as edge-to-edge display.
What you get
- compileSdk and targetSdk raised to 36
- Android Gradle Plugin, Gradle and key libraries updated
- Build errors and deprecations fixed
- Edge-to-edge and permission behaviour changes tested
- Signed release AAB
- Release submitted to Play (optional)

About this service
Every year Google Play raises the minimum target API level. When your app falls behind, Play Console shows a warning, then blocks new updates until you upgrade. The change is not just a number: higher target levels switch on new behaviour, such as enforced edge-to-edge layouts and stricter background and permission rules, which can break screens. We upgrade the build tooling, fix what breaks, and test on a real Android 16 device before handing it back. Older Cordova or deprecated projects may need more work — we inspect first and tell you honestly.
Questions before you buy
What happens if I do not upgrade?
You cannot publish updates, and the app may stop being shown to new users on newer Android versions.
Is this for Flutter and React Native apps too?
Yes — native, Flutter and React Native Android projects.
Will my app look different?
Possibly, because of edge-to-edge changes. We fix any layout issues this causes.
Do I need to change my keystore?
No. The same upload key is used.
