The short answer

ZoopCoder sets up online auctions on your WordPress and WooCommerce site for a fixed ₹5,499, ready in 3-5 working days. The price covers one WooCommerce auction plugin installed and configured, standard bidding with a start price, bid step, reserve price, buy-now price and automatic bid extension near the end, proxy (maximum-bid) bidding where the plugin supports it, outbid and auction-won emails in your wording, up to 10 auctions loaded with your products and photos, an auctions page and a how-bidding-works page, one payment gateway connected, and a test auction run end to end. One honest rule shapes the choice of plugin: the good auction plugins are paid, for example WooCommerce Simple Auctions lists about US$55 a year per site on its own shop and YITH Auctions Premium about US$150 a year, and one popular free auction plugin was closed for download on WordPress.org pending a review in October 2026. So we recommend a maintained plugin first, and you buy its licence, never a nulled copy. The plugin licence, hosting and payment gateway fees are billed separately.

What you get

  • One WooCommerce auction plugin chosen with you, installed from its vendor with your licence, and set up on your existing WordPress site
  • Standard auctions configured with a start price, bid step, optional reserve price, optional buy-now price and an end date and time
  • Proxy bidding, where a bidder enters a maximum and the plugin raises the bid for them, and an automatic time extension for last-minute bids, where the chosen plugin supports them
  • Emails for outbid, auction won and auction ended without a sale, edited into your wording and tested
  • Up to 10 auctions created from the products, photos and prices you send, each one checked on the live page
  • An Auctions page that lists live, upcoming and ended auctions, and a plain how-bidding-works page placed in your menu
  • The winner’s payment flowing through your normal WooCommerce checkout, with one payment gateway of your choice connected and a test order proven
  • One test auction run from first bid to winner’s order, a short written guide to creating and closing auctions, and 14 days of fixes for anything we configured

About this service

An online auction lets buyers compete on price, which suits one-off items, collectibles, surplus stock and limited batches. On WordPress it is done by adding an auction plugin to WooCommerce, so the winner pays through the same cart and checkout as any other order. The paid plugins cover the rules most sellers want. WooCommerce Simple Auctions offers normal, reverse and sealed auctions, proxy bidding, a reserve and buy-it-now price, anti-sniping time extension, automatic relisting and editable emails, and lists about US$55 a year per site. YITH Auctions Premium adds secret and reverse auctions, a signup fee to enter an auction and payment-method checks before bidding, at about US$150 a year. Plugins also change over time. A widely used free auction plugin was shown as closed for download on WordPress.org from 16 October 2026 while under review, which is why we confirm the plugin is currently available and maintained before building on it, and why we never install pirated copies, which are a common way for malware to reach a shop. The honest limits matter too: this service sets up auctions on a single-seller site. If several sellers need to list their own items, that is a marketplace, see WooCommerce Multi-Vendor Marketplace Setup, and for the site itself see WordPress Website.

Questions before you buy

Which auction plugin will you use?

We recommend one after you tell us what you need: normal bidding only, or also reserve, buy-now and maximum-bid bidding. Paid plugins such as WooCommerce Simple Auctions and YITH Auctions cover these. You buy the licence yourself in your name.

Is there a free option?

Free auction plugins exist, but they are often limited and change over time. One popular free plugin was closed for download on WordPress.org pending review in October 2026. We check what is available and maintained before we start, and tell you honestly if a free one is enough for your case.

How does the winner pay?

The winning bid becomes a normal WooCommerce order that the winner pays through your checkout with the payment gateway you connect. Holding bidder deposits or escrow is not part of this service.

Can many sellers list their own auctions?

Not in this service, which is for one seller running auctions on one site. A site where several sellers list items is a marketplace and is quoted separately.

Do I need an existing website?

Yes, a working WordPress site with WooCommerce. We add auctions to it and do not design the site. If you need the site first, see WordPress Website or WooCommerce Store.

Can you promise the auctions will get bids?

No. We set up the tool and the rules, but who bids depends on your products, your price and how you promote the auctions.
