The short answer

The job is the part the builder’s preview link hides: getting the exported project to build on a normal host, setting the environment values the app needs (the ones that never made it into the repository, which is the usual reason a deploy fails or shows a blank page), adding the redirect rule single-page apps need so refreshing a page does not 404, pointing your domain with the right DNS records, and testing the live site.

About this service
An AI builder’s preview link is easy to get and easy to outgrow. It sits on the builder’s domain, it stops working if you stop paying, and it is not yours. Moving to your own hosting is simple in principle and fiddly in practice: the build fails on a host that is stricter than the builder, the live site is blank because an environment value was set only inside the builder, refreshing any page except the home page shows a 404, or the login still redirects to the old address. This service does that move once, properly, in your own host account so you stay in control, and connects the repository so every later update redeploys on its own. If the app has a real bug, deployment will not hide it — that is the separate AI-Built App Bug Fix, and we tell you before charging if the problem is code rather than configuration. If you want the app on a server you manage yourself rather than Vercel or Netlify, that is the VPS Server Setup instead.
Questions before you buy
Do I need to pay for Vercel or Netlify?
Both have free plans to start, but plan limits and terms differ — particularly for commercial use — so check the host’s current terms for your situation. Whatever plan you choose is paid to the host directly and is never part of our fee.
Will my app still work after leaving the builder?
The exported code runs on any normal host, but anything the builder provided behind the scenes — its own backend, a built-in database, hosted functions — has to be reachable from outside. We check this before starting and tell you if something needs a separate decision.
Does it keep updating automatically?
Yes. We connect your repository to the host, so every merged change redeploys without anyone touching the host. If you keep using the builder, its GitHub sync keeps feeding that repository.
The site shows a blank page after deploy. Is that covered?
Yes, when the cause is configuration — a missing environment value, a wrong build setting, a missing redirect rule. If the cause is a bug in the app code, it is a different service and we tell you upfront.
Can you also move my domain to a new registrar?
No. We only connect your existing domain through DNS records. A registrar transfer, if you want one, is done by you at the two registrars.
What if I want it on my own server instead?
Then the VPS Server Setup service is the right one, because a server needs installing, securing and maintaining in a way Vercel and Netlify do for you.
