The short answer

ZoopCoder guides you through opening and verifying an Apple Developer Program account for a fixed ₹1,999, with our side of the work done in 2-4 working days. Apple charges US$99 a year — about ₹9,500 at ₹95.7 to the dollar — and unlike Google Play's one-time US$25, that fee recurs: if the membership lapses, every app you have published is removed from the App Store. The decision that costs Indian founders weeks is individual versus organisation — an organisation account publishes under your company name instead of your personal name, but it needs a registered legal entity and a D-U-N-S number, which Dun & Bradstreet issues free and which can take up to five business days on its own.

What you get

  • Advice on individual versus organisation enrolment for your case, before any money goes to Apple
  • D-U-N-S number looked up for your company, or a free D-U-N-S application filed if it has none
  • Apple ID created with two-factor authentication and recovery contacts set up correctly
  • Enrolment form completed with the legal entity name, address and website matching your registration documents exactly
  • Apple Developer Program Licence Agreement accepted and the US$99 payment walked through on a screen share
  • App Store Connect set up: users, roles and an admin invite so we can publish for you later
  • Paid Applications agreement, tax forms and Indian bank details completed if you intend to sell or run paid apps
  • Help answering Apple's follow-up verification email or phone call, which organisations usually get

About this service

Every iOS app starts here, and it is the step that strands the most Indian teams — not because the form is hard, but because Apple checks your company against public records and rejects anything that does not match. The single most common failure is a legal entity name typed the way people say it rather than the way it is registered: "Example Technologies" instead of "Example Technologies Private Limited", an old address, or a website that does not mention the company at all. Each mismatch costs a round trip with Apple support measured in days. An organisation account also needs a D-U-N-S number before enrolment can even start; Dun & Bradstreet issues it free, and paying anyone for the number itself is a scam. What you pay us for is choosing the right account type, getting the D-U-N-S and the entity details right the first time, and sitting with you on a screen share through the parts that lock up — two-factor, the agreements, the tax forms and the Indian bank details App Store Connect wants before it will ever pay you. Two honest notes. If you only want to test your own app on your own iPhone, you do not need this at all: a free Apple ID signs a build that runs for seven days, and that is enough for testing. And we will not publish your app from a ZoopCoder account — Apple treats the account holder as the publisher, so the listing, the reviews and the users would not be yours.

Questions before you buy

How much does an Apple Developer account cost in India?

US$99 a year, roughly ₹9,500 at current rates, paid directly to Apple by card. It is a recurring annual membership, not a one-time fee, and our ₹1,999 is separate from it and covers the enrolment work only.

Should I choose individual or organisation?

An individual account is faster and needs no D-U-N-S number, but your apps are published under your personal name and only you can access them. An organisation account publishes under your company name, supports a team with roles, and is required for some capabilities — but it needs a registered entity and a D-U-N-S number. We advise on which fits before you pay Apple anything.

What is a D-U-N-S number and do I have to pay for one?

It is a nine-digit business identifier issued by Dun & Bradstreet that Apple uses to confirm your company exists. It is free. Anyone charging you for the number itself is selling something Dun & Bradstreet gives away, and we file the application for you at no extra cost within this service.

How long does Apple take to approve enrolment?

An individual account is often the same day. An organisation account depends on D-U-N-S and on Apple's verification call, which usually takes a few days and occasionally longer. That window belongs to Apple and sits outside our 2-4 working day commitment, and nobody can promise Apple's decision.

Can you just publish my app using your Apple account?

No, and you should be wary of anyone who offers to. Apple treats the account holder as the publisher — the listing, the reviews, the users and the payouts would sit with us, not you, and the app disappears the day that relationship ends.

Do I need a GST registration or a company to publish on the App Store?

Not for an individual account — a PAN and an address proof are enough, and the apps publish under your own name. You need a registered entity only for an organisation account, or if you want Apple's payouts settled to a company bank account.
