The short answer
ZoopCoder fixes one broken Google Maps problem on an existing website — a grey or dark map, the “This page can’t load Google Maps correctly” message, a “For development purposes only” watermark, markers that vanished, or address autocomplete that stopped suggesting — for a fixed ₹1,599 per issue, found, fixed and retested in 1-2 working days. Google shows the real reason in the browser console as a named error such as RefererNotAllowedMapError (the key’s website restriction does not match your domain), ApiNotActivatedMapError (the Maps API your code calls is not switched on) or BillingNotEnabledMapError (the Cloud project has no billing account linked), so the cause is usually a setting in Google Cloud rather than your site’s code, and we read that error first.
What you get
- Your live page opened and the console error behind the broken map read and named
- The Google Cloud project checked for the four usual causes: the key itself, the APIs switched on, the website restriction on the key and the billing account link
- The fix made in the Google Cloud settings or in the page code, whichever holds the fault
- Address autocomplete checked against the Places API your code actually calls, and moved to the one your project can use if it is the cause
- The map retested on desktop and mobile, with the key still restricted to your own domain so it cannot be copied from your page source
- A short written note on what broke, which setting was changed and what to check if it happens again
- Up to 2 rounds of revisions if the same issue is still not fixed

About this service
A Google map that worked for years and then turns dark or grey is rarely a code fault. The key was created without a website restriction and then locked down to the wrong address, a billing account lapsed, someone switched off an API in the Cloud console to tidy up, or a redesign moved the site to a new domain or to www and the restriction still lists the old one. Newer Google Cloud projects add one more trap: autocomplete code written for the older Places API can fail on a project that cannot switch that API on. We open the page, read the exact error Google returns, match it to the setting that caused it and change only that. If you want a map built for the first time, our Google Maps API Integration does that.
Questions before you buy
What counts as one issue?
One map or one feature that is broken for one underlying reason. A map that is dark because billing is not linked and a map whose markers are missing because of a code error are two issues.
Will you need my Google Cloud login?
No. An invite to the project as Editor from your own account is enough, and you can remove it when we finish. If the key is hard-coded in your page we can also work from the code alone.
Is Google Maps free?
Google gives a free monthly usage allowance on each Maps product and bills beyond it, and a billing account has to be linked to the project for the JavaScript API to work. That bill comes from Google to you; we do not add to it.
The map worked last month and I changed nothing. Why did it stop?
Usually one of three things changed on Google’s side or in the project: the billing account lapsed or was removed, the key’s restriction no longer matches the address the page is served from, or an API was disabled. The console error tells us which.
Is this the same as your Google Maps API Integration service?
No. Integration builds a map on a page that has none. This is for a map that already exists and has stopped working.
My map is inside my mobile app, can you fix that?
Not in this service. It covers websites and web apps. Map SDK problems inside an Android or iOS app are quoted separately once we have seen the app.
My Google Business Profile is showing the wrong pin. Is that this?
No. That is your Google listing, not the Maps API on your website, and it is fixed inside your Google Business Profile.
