The short answer
ZoopCoder installs Odoo Community on your own Ubuntu server and sets up one company with the India localisation for a fixed ₹2,999, ready in 2-4 working days. The price covers PostgreSQL, an Nginx front end with your domain and SSL, daily automatic backups with one tested restore, the Indian chart of accounts and GST tax rates, up to 3 apps chosen from Contacts, CRM, Sales, Purchase, Inventory and Invoicing, and up to 5 users. Odoo Community is free open-source software, so the server is the only running cost and the data stays on a machine you own. The server, the domain and any Odoo Enterprise licence are paid for separately.

What we need from you

- A domain or subdomain you can point to the server
- Your company details, GSTIN, and a spreadsheet of products and parties to import
Not included
- The server or VPS fee, domain fee and backup storage fee, billed by those providers to you
- Odoo Enterprise licences or Odoo.sh hosting — this service installs the free Community edition only
- GST return filing, e-invoice or e-waybill connection to the GST portal — these need your own portal credentials and approvals and are quoted separately
- Manufacturing, HR, payroll, Point of Sale, website or e-commerce apps, and any custom module, custom report or print format — quoted separately

About this service
Odoo is a business suite that covers contacts, sales, purchases and stock in one place, and the Community edition is free. The work is in installing it the production way and in configuring it for how an Indian business actually trades. A quick install that runs on port 8069 is easy; one that survives a reboot, sits behind a proper domain with SSL and has a backup you have actually restored is the part that is usually missing. We set it up on a server bought in your name, so you own the data from day one, and we test a restore before any of your real records go in. The India localisation then loads the Indian chart of accounts and GST tax rates so your first quotation and invoice carry the right taxes. This service installs the free Community edition. If you want Odoo Enterprise or Odoo's own hosting, those are licensed by Odoo and are not part of this fee. Questions before you buy
Is Odoo really free?
The Community edition is free and open source. You pay for the server, the domain and backup storage. Odoo Enterprise and Odoo's own hosting are paid products from Odoo, and this service does not cover them.
What server do I need?
An Ubuntu 22.04 or 24.04 VPS with root access and at least 4 GB of RAM for a small team. We tell you which plan to buy before you pay for one.
Does it include GST returns or e-invoicing?
No. GST tax rates and the Indian chart of accounts are set up, but return filing and connecting to the GST portal for e-invoices or e-waybills need your own portal credentials and approvals, so they are quoted separately.
Can you move my data from Tally?
Up to 100 products and 100 customers or suppliers from a sheet are included. Moving full transaction history from Tally or another system is a separate job, quoted separately.
Who owns the server and the data?
You do. The server and domain are bought in your name and we only use the access you give us. You can remove our access once the 14 days of fixes are over.
Can you add custom modules later?
Yes, but custom modules, reports and print formats are not part of this fixed fee. We quote them separately once we know what you need.
