A freshly-signed-up Zoho People account has no employees, no leave rules and no holiday calendar loaded, so it cannot track anything until that setup is done once, properly; this service covers that setup only — Zoho Payroll is a separate Zoho product with its own separate setup, not something this configures.

About this service
Zoho People arrives blank — no employees, no leave rules, no holiday calendar — and most small teams end up running leave and attendance on a shared spreadsheet well past the point where that stops working. We import your team, set leave policies to match what you already tell staff verbally, and turn on the self-service portal so requests and approvals happen inside Zoho instead of over WhatsApp threads that get lost. Payroll is a genuinely separate Zoho product with its own compliance setup (PF, ESI, TDS), which is why it is not bundled here — if you also run Zoho Books for accounting, People and Books are separate Zoho apps that do not need to talk to each other for this setup to work.
