About this service
GoDaddy Website Builder is a closed page builder with no export tool: there is no file you can download and import into WordPress, so the only way out is to rebuild. That sounds worse than it is for a small business site. A typical GoDaddy or Weebly site is five to ten pages of text, photos, a contact form and a few buttons, and all of that moves cleanly. What needs care is the part nobody sees: the web addresses of your old pages. Google and your customers already know them, so each one gets a 301 redirect to its new WordPress page, and your page titles and descriptions are carried over so your search listings stay recognisable. You keep full control of the result: WordPress on your own hosting, with no monthly builder plan, and the domain can stay registered where it is — we only change where it points. Questions before you buy
Can I export my GoDaddy Website Builder site myself?
There is no export tool for GoDaddy Website Builder. You can copy text and save images by hand, which is what a rebuild does for you, with the layout, redirects and forms done properly.
Does this work for Weebly too?
Yes. Weebly sites are rebuilt the same way: pages, text and images recreated on WordPress and the old addresses redirected.
Will my website go offline during the move?
No. We build the new site on a staging copy while your old site stays live, and switch the domain only after you approve it.
Do I have to move my domain away from GoDaddy?
