About this service
Wix and Squarespace do not let you download your site — there is no database export or file dump you can hand a developer, because their page builders store content in a proprietary format with no WordPress equivalent. That is by design: it is how they keep you on their monthly plan. Moving off means rebuilding the site properly on WordPress — recreating each page's layout, carrying over every piece of text and image, matching your fonts and colours, and, critically, setting up 301 redirects so Google does not see the new WordPress URLs as a completely different site and drop your existing rankings. We review the rebuilt pages with you on a staging site before anything goes live, so nothing changes for your visitors until you have approved it.
Questions before you buy
Can't I just export my Wix/Squarespace site myself?
Neither platform offers a real export — you can download a content list or a static HTML snapshot at best, not a file you can import into WordPress. A rebuild is the only reliable path.
Will I lose my Google rankings?
Setting up 301 redirects from every old URL to its new WordPress page is included specifically to preserve rankings and any backlinks pointing at your old pages. Some ranking movement after any platform change is normal and outside anyone's control, but redirects are the single biggest protection.
What about my Wix/Squarespace store?
