We copy files and database first, test the site on a temporary address, and only then switch DNS; a DNS record can be set with a TTL as low as 60 seconds to shorten the handover, but some ISP resolvers ignore that and cache the old address for up to 24-48 hours regardless, so we plan for that worst case rather than promise an instant cutover.

About this service
Moving hosts is where many sites break: broken links, missing images, database errors or emails that stop arriving. We avoid that by treating migration as copy, test, then switch. The full site and database are backed up, moved to the new server, and tested there using a temporary address before any visitor is sent to it. Once it works, we update DNS, install SSL on the new host and recheck forms, links and media. Common reasons to migrate include slow shared hosting, expiring plans, moving to a VPS or Cloudflare, or leaving a developer who controlled the old account.

Is SEO affected?
No, when URLs stay the same and the site works on the new host, rankings are not affected by the move itself.
Should I lower my DNS TTL before migrating?
If you control the DNS, yes — a record can be set as low as 60 seconds (30 seconds on Cloudflare Enterprise) instead of the usual default, which shortens how long resolvers cache the old address. Even then, some ISP resolvers ignore TTL and cache up to 24-48 hours, which is why we test on a temporary address before switching, not after.
I am also changing my domain name, not just my host — is that the same service?
No, that is a domain move, which needs Google Search Console's Change of Address tool plus 301 redirects kept live for at least 180 days before Google treats the old domain as unrelated. Tell us upfront if a domain change is part of the plan; the fixed ₹1,999 above covers hosting only, with a domain move quoted separately.
