The short answer

The price covers the install on a server in your name, your domain with SSL, outgoing email, the scheduled-jobs cron entry that these tools need to send mail and run workflows, your admin account and up to 3 more users, your logo and company name, one CSV import of up to 1,000 contacts, and daily backups with one tested restore. All three are open-source software with no per-user licence fee when you host them yourself. The server and domain are billed separately.

- A mailbox or SMTP login for outgoing email
- Your choice of SuiteCRM, EspoCRM or Dolibarr — if you are unsure, tell us what you sell and who your team is and we will say which fits
- Your logo and, if you want an import, one CSV file with up to 1,000 rows

- Paid extensions, paid support plans and any vendor-hosted cloud version of these tools

About this service
SuiteCRM, EspoCRM and Dolibarr are open-source business tools you can run on your own server instead of paying a monthly fee per user. SuiteCRM and EspoCRM are CRMs for leads, contacts and deals; Dolibarr is a lighter ERP and CRM that also covers quotes, invoices and stock. The install is where people stall: SuiteCRM needs URL rewriting on and its web root pointed at the public folder, EspoCRM needs a cron entry running every minute, and all three need email and a tested backup before you trust real customer data to them. Each also has paid extensions or support plans, so we tell you which ones you would need before you buy anything. Heavier customisation, workflows and connecting the CRM to your website or WhatsApp are separate jobs. Questions before you buy
Which one should I pick?
SuiteCRM and EspoCRM are sales CRMs; EspoCRM has a lighter, simpler screen and SuiteCRM has more built-in modules. Dolibarr suits a small business that also wants quotes, invoices and stock in one tool. Tell us about your team and we will say which fits before you pay.
Is it free?
The open-source editions are free to run on your own server, with no per-user licence fee. You pay for the VPS and domain. Paid extensions and support plans exist for these tools and are bought from the vendor.
Why is a cron entry needed?
These tools run scheduled jobs for outgoing email, reminders and workflows. Without the cron entry the CRM looks fine but nothing scheduled happens. We add it and check that it runs.
What can you import?
One CSV of up to 1,000 contacts or companies, with the columns mapped. Bigger imports or data from another CRM in its own format are quoted separately.
Do I need my own server?
Yes, bought in your name. We tell you which size to buy before you pay for one.
Who owns the data?
You do. The server and domain are in your name and we only use the access you give us. You can remove our access once the 14 days of fixes are over.
