The short answer
ZoopCoder extracts data from one public website into a clean Excel, CSV or Google Sheet for a fixed ₹5,499, delivered in 4-6 working days, covering up to 12 fields per record and up to 5,000 rows. You receive the re-runnable Python script and its commented source code along with the data, so the same extraction can be repeated later without paying for it again. We only take data that is publicly visible without logging in, and we read the source site's robots.txt and terms before starting — anything behind a login, a paywall or a CAPTCHA, and anything that is personal data about individuals, is refused rather than quietly scraped.
What you get
- One source website, agreed in writing before any work starts
- Up to 12 fields per record — for example name, price, rating, category, city, page URL and image link
- Up to 5,000 rows in the first run
- Output as Excel (.xlsx), CSV or a Google Sheet, whichever you prefer
- Data cleaned: whitespace and currency symbols stripped, duplicates removed, dates and numbers correctly typed
- Pagination, load-more buttons and JavaScript-rendered listings handled
- Polite, rate-limited crawling that identifies itself, so the source site is not hammered
- The Python script with commented source code and a README, so you or anyone else can re-run it
- One free re-run on the same site within 30 days, including fixing selectors if the site's layout changed

What we need from you
- The exact source URL or listing page the data should come from
- The list of fields you want, with one example row filled in by hand
- Written confirmation that you are entitled to use this data for your intended purpose
- A Google account, if you want the output delivered as a Google Sheet
Not included
- Sites that require a login, a paid subscription or a CAPTCHA to see the data
- Personal data about individuals — emails, phone numbers or profiles collected for outreach lists
- LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and any site whose terms prohibit automated access
- Running the scraper on a schedule on a server — hosting a recurring scraper is quoted separately
- Proxy or residential IP costs, if the source blocks datacentre IPs — billed at cost, only with your approval first
- More than 5,000 rows, or a second source site — quoted per additional site
About this service
Most "just get me this data" jobs are not hard, they are fiddly: the listing paginates in an odd way, half the rows only appear after a scroll, the price sits in an attribute rather than in the text, and two hundred of the five thousand rows are the same product under slightly different URLs. That fiddliness is what the fixed fee actually buys, and it is why we send you the first 50 rows before running the whole thing — it is far cheaper for both of us to discover on row 50 that you wanted the MRP and not the selling price. You get the script, not just the spreadsheet, because data goes stale and the second run should not cost you anything. Two honest limits. First, we take only what is publicly visible: if the data needs an account to see it, it is not public, and we will not take it however easy it would be. Second, we do not build outreach lists of people — harvesting individuals' emails and phone numbers is where this work becomes a spam problem and, in India, a DPDP problem. Competitor prices, product catalogues, public directories, government listings, job boards and property listings are the normal jobs here, and those we are glad to do.
Questions before you buy
Is web scraping legal in India?
Collecting publicly available, non-personal information is generally permissible, but the website's own terms of service and robots.txt still bind you, and personal data brings the DPDP Act into play. We read the robots.txt and the terms before starting and refuse the job if they prohibit automated access. We are developers, not lawyers — if the data matters commercially, have your lawyer read the source's terms.
Can you scrape LinkedIn, Instagram or Facebook?
No. Their terms prohibit automated collection and the data is almost always personal data about individuals. We refuse these regardless of budget, so please do not ask.
What happens if the website changes its layout?
The script breaks — that is true of every scraper ever written. One re-run within 30 days is included, and if the breakage is a layout change on the source site we fix the selectors as part of that. After 30 days it is a small paid fix.
Can it run automatically every day?
As delivered, the script is re-runnable by hand. Running it on a schedule needs hosting, monitoring and somewhere for the output to land, so it is a separate job we quote once we know where it should run.
What if the site blocks you?
Some sites block datacentre IPs or serve a CAPTCHA after a few hundred requests. We rate-limit to avoid triggering that, and we check the source before you pay precisely so this does not come as a surprise. If it only shows up at the sample stage, we switch to an agreed alternative source at no extra cost — we do not work around CAPTCHAs.
Do I get the raw code?
Yes. The Python script, its dependency list and a README come with the data. It is yours — no licence, no lock-in, and no need to come back to us to run it again.
