Before you price any rental system, write down every distinct way you have quoted a vehicle in the last three months — per day self-drive, per day with driver, per kilometre beyond an included limit, per hour for the airport run, a flat monthly figure for the corporate account, a wedding-season rate, a discount for the travel agent who sends you eight bookings a month, an extra for the outstation permit. If that list has one or two lines, your rate card is a piece of paper and it will stay one; software will not give back the hour it takes. If it has five or more, that list is exactly where your money leaks — the quotes that undercut your own card, the corporate rate applied to a retail booking, the season rate nobody switched off in March — and a system that holds those rules once and applies them the same way every time is worth more than any feature comparison. Ten minutes with a pen tells you more than three demo calls.

The video is captioned with vehicle fleet and availability, booking with pickup and drop, driver assignment, rental invoices and deposits, and trip and earning reports as the features it covers. Some of that is genuinely on screen: Car List, Vehicle Category and Fleet Utilisation are the fleet and availability side, Reservation List and Calendar are the bookings, Invoices and Payments are the billing, and Profit per Car, Income vs Expense and Fleet Utilisation are the earning reports. The rest deserves a straight answer. There is no live GPS map, no vehicle position, no telematics device and no trip replay in those four minutes. No customer is shown completing a booking on a public website with a pickup point, a drop point and a date range — the reservations you see are being read in the office panel. There is no screen where a named driver is assigned to a specific trip; Driver Payroll is what a driver is paid, which is not the same thing. There is no security deposit being taken or refunded, no damage or vehicle inspection checklist, no driving licence or ID being verified, no fuel, toll or FASTag entry, no odometer reading captured at handover, and no aggregator or online travel platform connected. Fleet Utilisation, Profit per Car, Income vs Expense, Receivables, Maintenance and Driver Payroll is six of seventeen screens spent on money — this is a fleet profit and loss system with a reservation book attached, not a dispatch or ride-hailing app. That shape fits a rental operator who owns the vehicles and wants to know which of them pay: self-drive fleets, corporate car supply, tour and travel operators running their own cars, a garage renting out five to fifty vehicles across one or two branches.
