How much does job portal software cost in India, and what does it include?

A job-board owner needs to manage vacancies, employers and candidates. Watch the admin screens behind those tasks, then check the gaps before commissioning your recruitment website.

Quick answer

Job portal software deployment at ZoopCoder starts at ₹1,00,000, with maintenance plans at ₹3,000 / ₹8,000 / ₹15,000+ per month. The English demo on this page shows 16 admin screens in 4 minutes 4 seconds, including Jobs, Employers, Candidates, All Resumes, Reported Jobs, Subscriptions and Transactions. That is evidence of a job-board back office; it does not establish an applicant-tracking pipeline, resume parsing or a working paid checkout. A custom build takes 6–16 weeks, with the exact scope and third-party costs itemised before payment. Source code ownership and 30 days of post-launch support are included, with 30/40/30 milestone payments. Before asking for a quote, choose the job-board business you will run: who supplies vacancies, who brings candidates and who pays. If those answers are still guesses, validate demand before funding a platform. Software can organise a recruitment marketplace; it cannot supply the employers or applicants needed to make that marketplace useful.

Opening frame of the demo: Job Portal Software - 16-screen admin panel tour
Recorded job-board admin screens — published 1 September 2026. Separate employer and candidate journeys are not demonstrated. Watch on YouTube ›

How this page was prepared: ZoopCoder sells deployment and development services. This screen inventory uses the recording plan for the published demo; its feature captions are checked separately below. A screen title establishes what area was opened, not that every workflow in that area was tested. Demo records are not client results.

Start with the vacancy-to-application test

Write down one vacancy you intend to publish and the steps an employer and a candidate must complete. Who approves the employer? Who can see the resume? When is payment due? What happens if the vacancy is reported or withdrawn? Those decisions define the software you need more precisely than asking for a website like a large national job portal.

If you only hire for your own company, start by scoping a careers page and your hiring workflow. A public board with employer subscriptions adds a different business to operate. If you already run a specialist job board, bring your existing vacancy, employer and candidate data to the scoping discussion.

Price the job board you actually plan to run

Tell us your recruitment niche, who posts jobs, who pays, and which existing records you need to move. Ask for the missing workflows to be demonstrated in the quote.

Which 16 screens does the job-portal demo show?

The first column reproduces the recorded screen names in order. The final column is a buying test to request; it is not a claim that the recording demonstrates that behaviour.

What the demo does not show

The video caption lists job posting, employer and candidate logins, resume search, application tracking and paid job packages. The recording shows the admin areas associated with some of those claims, rather than five complete user journeys.

  • Jobs and Job Categories: these screens appear; an employer submitting a vacancy, an administrator approving it and the public listing appearing are not demonstrated as a complete flow.
  • Employers and Candidates: these are admin views. Separate sign-ins, account recovery and boundaries on what each user can see are not demonstrated.
  • All Resumes: the resume area appears. Parsing an uploaded document, searching its contents, ranking candidates and preventing duplicate records are not demonstrated.
  • Application tracking: no application pipeline, interview calendar, offer approval or hire-status screen appears in the recorded screen list. This demo does not establish an ATS.
  • Subscriptions and Transactions: both screens appear. A successful checkout, failed payment, posting-credit limit, renewal or refund is not demonstrated.

Also unproven here: external job-board imports, email or WhatsApp delivery, a native mobile app, production load capacity, and candidate-data export or deletion. If any is essential, make it an acceptance condition in the written scope. The presence of a menu or list alone is not evidence of a working integration.

What does deployment cost in India?

These are ZoopCoder published prices, checked on 9 September 2026, rather than a survey of other vendors. The starting price is not a promise that every integration or feature discussed on this page is included.

Four decisions that change the quote

  1. Who pays for what? Free postings, employer subscriptions, paid featured vacancies and resume-access credits need different rules. Specify credit expiry, renewals and refunds before estimating checkout work.
  2. Where do existing records come from? Share sample vacancy and resume formats, approximate file storage and duplicate-handling rules. Importing a clean sheet is different from matching years of attachments to candidate records.
  3. What must connect to another service? Payment gateways, email, messaging and external job feeds need named integrations and separate third-party costs. The recording proves none of those connections.
  4. Who moderates and supports the board? Decide who reviews reported jobs, handles employer queries and controls resume access. Agree the workflow and permissions to test before launch.

When you should not buy this

  • You need an internal hiring pipeline. If your central task is interviews, approvals and offers for your own vacancies, this admin tour does not prove the ATS workflow you need.
  • You have no route to employers or candidates. A deployed job board does not come with an audience, vacancies, placements or revenue. Validate the two-sided demand first.
  • Your buying decision depends on automated matching. No parser, ranking engine or matching result is demonstrated. Do not purchase on that assumption.
  • You require paid packages immediately. A subscription list is insufficient evidence. Require a test of payment, credit usage, expiration and refunds before committing to that scope.
  • Nobody will review reported jobs or candidate access. The Reported Jobs screen is a useful prompt to assign an operator. Buying software does not resolve an unowned moderation process.
  • You only need employee attendance and payroll. Review the HR and payroll demo instead; running a public recruitment marketplace is a separate requirement.

Five acceptance tests to put in the quote

  1. Register a test employer, submit a vacancy, approve it and inspect its public listing.
  2. Register a test candidate, upload an agreed sample resume and complete an application.
  3. Verify that each employer sees only the candidate information allowed by the agreed access rules.
  4. If paid posting is in scope, buy a package in gateway test mode, use its credits and test a failed payment and refund.
  5. Report and withdraw a test job, then verify what the candidate and moderator each see.

These are proposed tests for the system you commission, not completed tests of this demo. Link each one to a milestone and record the result before signing off.

Frequently asked questions

How much does job portal software cost in India?

ZoopCoder deployment starts at ₹1,00,000. Maintenance plans are ₹3,000, ₹8,000 and ₹15,000+ per month. A custom build takes 6–16 weeks. These are published starting figures, not a fixed quote for every job portal; migration, integrations and the agreed scope must be itemised.

Is this job portal an applicant tracking system?

The recording does not demonstrate an applicant tracking system. Jobs, Candidates and All Resumes are visible admin screens, but an application moving through shortlist, interview, offer and hire is not shown. If that workflow is your main requirement, ask for it to be demonstrated before buying.

Does the demo show employers and candidates logging in?

No separate employer or candidate login journey is recorded. Employers and Candidates appear in the admin screen list. An administrator viewing those records is different from a user registering, signing in and completing a task.

Can I sell paid job postings with this software?

Subscriptions and Transactions appear in the recording, but purchasing a job package, enforcing a posting limit, renewing a plan and refunding a payment are not demonstrated. Treat paid posting as a scope item that needs an end-to-end acceptance demo.

Does All Resumes prove resume parsing or search?

No. The All Resumes screen establishes that the recording includes a resume administration area. It does not prove file parsing, ranked matching, duplicate detection or a search returning relevant candidates. Test each required behaviour using agreed sample resumes.

Do I own the source code, and what support is included?

ZoopCoder published pricing includes source code ownership, project files and documentation, plus 30 days of post-launch support. Payments follow 30/40/30 milestones. Ongoing maintenance and chosen third-party services should be separate lines in the written quote.
