Not a brochure — a recording of a working system. Nine admin screens covering owners, tenants, towers, floors, apartments and rent. Then the honest India price, and the two features the video title claims that the recording never shows.
Society management software replaces the owner-and-tenant register a housing society runs on with one system every committee member logs into, instead of a spreadsheet on the secretary’s laptop. The video below is a recording of a working system, not a slideshow: 9 screens in 2 minutes 47 seconds — owners, tenants, towers, floors, apartments and rent. In India, deployment starts at ₹1,00,000 with maintenance from ₹3,000/month, and a from-scratch custom build of the same scope is a 6–16 week project. One honesty check first: of the five features named in this video’s own title and description, only one is fully shown on screen — there is no visitor log anywhere in the recording, even though “Visitor Log” is in the title.

Before you price any society system, ask the treasurer, the secretary and the security desk the same question about one flat: who lives there right now, and how much rent or maintenance do they owe. If all three give the same answer without checking, software will not pay for itself and you should not buy it yet. If any two of them disagree, or one of them has to call the owner to find out, that is exactly where the confusion at your next AGM comes from, and a system that keeps one shared record is worth more than any feature on any vendor’s comparison sheet.
ZoopCoder is paid to deploy these systems, and the rule above tells a share of readers — small societies with one reliable volunteer — not to buy one yet. That is deliberate. A society that installs software nobody in the committee actually uses ends up paying for it while the WhatsApp group keeps running the building anyway.

This video’s own title and description name five features. Judge each one against what is actually opened on screen, not the caption.
| Claimed feature | On screen in the recording? | What is actually shown |
|---|---|---|
| Flat and owner records | Shown | Owner, Tenant, Apartment, Floor and Tower screens all exist and link together |
| Maintenance bills and receipts | Half-shown | A Rent screen holds the amount owed per flat, but no invoice is generated and no receipt is printed in the recording |
| Complaint tracking | Not shown | No complaint, maintenance-request or ticket screen appears anywhere |
| Visitor entry log | Not shown | Despite “Visitor Log” being in the video’s own title, zero screen records a visitor, a gate pass or an entry |
| Notices and society accounts | Not shown | No noticeboard screen and no ledger, expense or accounts screen beyond the single Rent field |
The ninth screen in the recording is a User list (admin logins) and a Custom Modules screen, which lets a society add fields specific to its own building — it is an extensibility option, not a feature by itself.
A registered housing society or RWA in India carries real obligations that no screen in this demo touches: audited annual accounts presented at the AGM, sinking and repair fund tracking, GST on maintenance collections once they cross the per-flat exemption threshold, and TDS on payments to contractors above the statutory limit. If your society needs any of these built in rather than handled separately in a chartered accountant’s spreadsheet, say so when you ask for a quote — it changes the scope and the price.
These are ZoopCoder’s own published numbers, from the pricing page — not a market survey. Your exact figure comes from a fixed written quote, returned in 24–48 hours.
| Route | What you get | Price | Time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Deploy & configure the system in this video | Owner, tenant, tower, floor and apartment records, rent tracking, your branding, your buildings set up, staff trained | From ₹1,00,000 | Weeks, not months |
| Custom build from scratch | Built to include what this demo does not — visitor and gate log, complaint tracking, GST-ready accounts, online payment collection | Custom software, from ₹1,00,000 | 6–16 weeks |
| Keeping it running | Security updates, backups, bug fixes, support — Basic / Professional / Enterprise | ₹3,000 / ₹8,000 / ₹15,000+ per month | Ongoing |
| Included either way | Full source code and database ownership, documentation, 30 days post-launch support, committee training | ₹0 extra | — |
Payments follow the standard schedule — 30% at kickoff, 40% at the mid-project milestone, 30% on delivery. Build times match the window in our timeline guide, where every three days you take to approve a stage adds roughly a week to the calendar.
Not flat count. Four things, in this order:
It gives a housing society one shared record of who owns and who lives in every flat, instead of a register kept by one committee member. Owners, tenants, towers, floors, apartments and rent tracking are all shown in the demo above — 9 screens in 2 minutes 47 seconds.
Deployment and configuration starts at ₹1,00,000, maintenance runs ₹3,000 / ₹8,000 / ₹15,000+ per month by plan, and a from-scratch custom build of the same scope is 6–16 weeks and priced as custom software. Online payments, visitor management and GST-ready accounts each add to that, and none of them is in this recording.
A configured deployment is weeks; a custom build is 6–16 weeks. The software is rarely the bottleneck — entering every owner, tenant and rent record correctly before go-live is, because a wrong flat mapping is the fastest way to lose committee trust.
Yes — source code, database and project files, with documentation, handed over as part of the quoted price and no release fee. Get this in writing from any vendor. A society is resident-run, not a company with IT staff, so a vendor who keeps the code and hosts it only on their own account can effectively hold your ownership and tenant records hostage to a renewal fee.
Under roughly 25–30 flats with one reliable volunteer secretary, usually not. The honest test is whether the owner, tenant and rent-due record for any one flat is the same when you ask the secretary, the treasurer and the security desk. If it is not, a shared system pays back. If it already is, it will not.
